NEXORANX TOOLKIT & LICENCE

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers describe how the software behaves today, including its limits.

Product

What is NEXORA?

NEXORA is independent third-party software: a set of professional tools for supported Siemens NX installations, and the Windows application that installs them and manages your licence. It is built by Harshal Oza and is not a Siemens product. NEXORA is the new name for the application previously called Harshal Oza Toolkit & License — the same software, renamed in version 2.1.27 with a new look.

Is this an official Siemens product?

No. NEXORA is independently developed third-party software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Siemens Digital Industries Software. Siemens and NX are trademarks of Siemens AG or its affiliates and are mentioned only to describe compatibility. Siemens NX itself must be licensed separately from Siemens.

Which Siemens NX versions are supported?

It depends on the tool, and most now work anywhere. RenameCAMops, Cavity Mill Mixed Cutting, Material Size BOM, Setup Sheet and NX Backup and Restore work with any NX version. Only the NX 12 Classic Toolbar is built for NX 12.0 alone. If you need a particular tool on another version, please ask before purchasing.

Which tools can I actually install today?

Six: NX Backup and Restore, the NX 12 Classic Toolbar, RenameCAMops, Cavity Mill Mixed Cutting, Material Size BOM and Setup Sheet. They are on the Install Tools page of the Windows application, which detects your NX installations, checks compatibility and puts each tool where NX will load it. Windows asks for administrator rights and NX must be closed while a tool is installed. NX Backup and Restore is free and needs no licence; the rest need an active one. The Post Processor appears as Coming Soon in the application, and NX Role Install is announced but not yet listed there.

What are the system requirements?

Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit, and a supported Siemens NX installation. The application ships self-contained, so no separate .NET runtime is needed. The installer requires administrator rights.

How do I download the Windows application?

Go to the Download page and click Download for Windows. The installer comes from our official release channel on GitHub, and the page shows the current version. It needs Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and administrator rights to install.

Licensing

How do I activate my licence?

After paying on this website, click Download License Key on the success screen to save HARSHAL_OZA_LICENSE.key. In NEXORA, open the Subscription page, choose Restore Subscription and select that file; the licence is installed on this computer. If the file will not download, the success screen can show the key, which you can paste into the application’s Activation page instead. If you bought from inside the application, activation is automatic.

How does machine-bound licensing work?

Every computer has a Machine ID, which the application shows on its Dashboard. When you buy, the license is issued for that Machine ID, and it only activates on that computer. To use it on a different computer, transfer it from inside the application; the expiry date moves with it.

Why do I need a Machine ID to buy a licence on this website?

Every licence is issued for one specific computer. The Machine ID identifies that computer, and the licence server builds your key around it. Buying on the website therefore needs the Machine ID from the copy of the application you intend to activate — install the application first, and copy the ID from the Dashboard.

Can I transfer my license to another computer?

Yes, for paid licences. Open the Subscription page in NEXORA and choose Transfer License. The transfer releases the licence from the current computer and lets you activate it on the new one, keeping the same expiry date. Save a backup .key file before transferring, as the application asks you to. There is a limit on how many transfers a licence allows, and the application shows how many you have left. Free trial licences cannot be transferred.

Do the tools need an internet connection?

Not all the time, but they do need one every few days. Your licence renews itself quietly in the background while NEXORA is running, so you will never be asked to do anything. A computer that cannot reach the internet at all keeps working for five days, and the tools then stop until it connects once — after which they start working again immediately. Nothing you bought changes: the expiry date on screen is still the end of the subscription you paid for. A machine behind a firewall needs to reach our licence server at steep-lab-fb31.harshaloza66.workers.dev over HTTPS.

What happens when my licence expires?

The licensed tools stop working once the expiry date passes. Buy a new licence for the same Machine ID to continue. If a licence is extended on our side, NEXORA collects the new expiry date on its next check, usually within a few minutes of opening; pressing Refresh asks for it straight away. A licence that has simply not been checked for a few days reads LICENSE NEEDS CHECKING rather than expired — one connection puts that right, with nothing to buy.

Can I restore my license, for example after reinstalling Windows?

Yes. Keep the HARSHAL_OZA_LICENSE.key file you downloaded after paying, or one saved from Save Backup Key. In NEXORA, open the Subscription page, choose Restore Subscription and select the file. Reinstalling Windows can change your Machine ID; if it has, the application offers to transfer the license to this computer instead, keeping the same expiry date. If you have no file, contact support with your payment reference.

How is my licence protected?

Every licence key is signed by our licence server with a private signing key that exists nowhere else — not in the Windows application, and not in the NX tools. The application and each tool carry only the public half, which can check a signature but cannot create one. A key that was not issued by us is refused. This replaced the older key format in version 2.1.24; licences issued before it were reissued automatically, with nothing for customers to do.

How do updates work?

The application checks the official release channel on start-up. When a newer version is published it downloads the installer, verifies it against the published SHA-256 hash and installs it only if the hash matches. Some releases are mandatory and are applied before the application continues. Updating never alters your licence.

Payment

How does payment work?

You choose a duration, and the licence server creates a Razorpay payment link priced from its own catalogue. You pay on Razorpay’s secure page by UPI, card or the other methods Razorpay offers. No payment details are entered on this website. Once Razorpay confirms the payment, the licence server issues your key.

What happens after payment?

The licence server confirms the payment with Razorpay directly, then generates your license. The success screen shows your Machine ID, plan and expiry date, and offers Download License Key, Download Windows App and Activation Instructions.

Can the price change between what I see and what I pay?

The price shown is read live from the licence server, and the server prices your order again when the payment link is created. If the two ever differ, the amount on the Razorpay payment page is the amount charged. Nothing your browser sends can change what you are charged.

Which currency will I be charged in?

All licences are priced and charged in Indian Rupees (INR). If you pay with a card issued outside India, your own bank performs the currency conversion and may add its own fee; that conversion is between you and your bank, and we neither set nor receive it. Taxes, where they apply, are shown before you pay.

I paid but did not receive a licence key. What now?

Your payment is recorded on the licence server, not in your browser, so it is not lost. If the purchase page is still open, leave it: it keeps checking and shows your license once the payment is confirmed. Otherwise email support with your payment reference and Machine ID, and we will issue the license from the server record.

Can I get a refund?

Licences are delivered immediately and are tied to your computer, so refunds are limited. Where a licence could not be delivered or activated and we cannot resolve it, we will refund. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy in full, and contact support before buying if you are unsure whether the software will work for your setup.

Do you offer a free trial?

A free trial is currently offered, once per computer, and is started from inside the Windows application rather than from this website. Trial availability and length are set on the licence server and can change. A trial licence cannot be transferred to another computer.

Support

How do I contact support?

Email us, or use the contact form on this website. Include your Machine ID and, for a payment question, your payment reference — that is almost always enough for us to resolve it on the first reply.

What should I do if activation fails?

First check that the Machine ID on the application Dashboard matches the one you bought for, since a license only activates on its own computer. Make sure you selected the HARSHAL_OZA_LICENSE.key file from your purchase, and that the license has not expired. If it still fails, email support with your Machine ID, the exact error message and your payment reference.

Do you offer a licence for multiple computers?

Each licence covers one computer. For several machines, buy one licence per Machine ID. If you need a larger number, contact us and we will work out the best arrangement.

Still stuck?

Email [email protected] with your Machine ID and, if it is about a payment, your payment reference. We reply within 2 business days.
