Restores the classic toolbar interface in NX 12.

What it does

Turns NX 12’s classic toolbars and menus back on. NX 12 hides them behind the ribbon; this brings them back for anyone who prefers the older layout.

Where to find it in NX

There is no button to press. NX loads it by itself every time NX 12 starts, so restart NX after installing.

Good to know

  • Made for NX 12 only. Other NX versions are not offered it.
  • Installing it writes into the Siemens NX folder, so Windows asks for administrator rights. Close NX first.
  • UNINSTALL on the Install Tools page removes it. Restart NX afterwards.
