What it does

Renames CAM operations in one go. Select the operations, type a base name and a starting sequence number, and every selected operation is renamed in program order.

Where to find it in NX

In the Manufacturing application: the RENAME OPERATION button on the selection bar. Select the operations in the Operation Navigator first.

Good to know

  • If nothing is selected it says so and changes nothing.
  • Installed into each NX installation you choose. Windows asks for administrator rights, and NX must be closed while it installs.
